  • All group members staying in the Loft must be 18-years of age or older. Reservations will not be made for Middle School and High School groups.
  • Official faculty-led student groups must secure the reservation with a budget code. No group reservations may be made for fall or spring breaks.

Check-In

Arrivals are checked-in by appointment only. Your appointment must be made no later than 1 week prior to your arrival date. There are no check-ins before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m.

Check-ins are based on your travel. For example, if you arrive at LaGuardia Airport (LGA) at 8 a.m., we would estimate you to arrive at the Loft sometime between 8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m., and we would arrange for someone to be there during that 2-hour window to let you into the Loft.

Cancellation Policy

Your request to cancel must be received in writing (nyloft@appstate.edu) 2 weeks prior to your arrival date. If you meet this deadline, you may cancel without penalty. If you cancel with less than 2 weeks notice, you will be charged 1 night’s stay per person as a penalty.
